PRODUCT DETAILS

Product description

The Trodat Printy 4850 E-MAILED stock date stamp prints fixed E-MAILED wording in Blue above the selected date in Red. Its self-inking mechanism uses an internal pad. Set and check the date manually before marking suitable paper records.

Product details

  • Brand and model: Trodat Printy 4850
  • Fixed wording: E-MAILED
  • Ink configuration: Blue wording with a Red date
  • Date: manually adjustable day, month and year bands
  • Replacement pad for this divided configuration: Trodat 6/4850/2

This listing currently has one product variant for the configuration described above. It is a fixed-wording stamp rather than an editable custom-text template.

Mark retained paper email records

Use the mark on suitable paper copies after checking the email action in your own system. The stamp does not send an email, connect to a mailbox or confirm delivery or reading. It records the wording and date selected by the user. Keep the actual email and any required reference records separately.

Compare layouts and messages

For the other communication step, compare the 4850 FAXED stamp. If you want the corresponding 4750 listing with selectable ink options, compare the 4750 E-MAILED date stamp and check its layout. For your own wording above the date, choose the personalised 4850 date stamp.

Set and check the date

Adjust the day, month and year using the bands according to the instructions supplied with your stamp. Make a test impression on spare suitable material and check the complete message before stamping finished paperwork. Repeat the check at the start of each working day and after changing the bands.

The stamp does not automatically read today's date. Ask us about the year range on the actual stock being supplied if a particular future year matters; do not assume every date stamp has the same date-band range.

Suitable surfaces and maintenance

Standard office stamp ink is intended for suitable absorbent, uncoated paper and card. Glossy labels, laminated material and matt-coated packaging need advice on a compatible stamp and ink combination. Test drying and readability on the actual material before a full run.

Follow your model's fitting instructions when replacing a pad. Match the pad model and ink configuration, not just its apparent size. A faint impression can have more than one cause, so check the setup and surface before assuming the pad is depleted.
