Design Your Custom Stamp in Three Steps
Choose a stamp with enough impression area for your wording or logo, add the details offered by its personaliser, then check the design before ordering. This guide explains how to prepare a readable layout and when to ask our team for help.
Choose the Right Starting Point

Measure the space on your document or card and compare the stamp size guide. Listed dimensions describe the impression area, not the outer case. For glossy, coated, fabric or unusual surfaces, contact us before choosing the stamp and ink.
Step 1: Add Your Text or Artwork
Open the personaliser from the selected product page using its design button, currently labelled “Create your stamp” on many products. The fields and controls available depend on the product: a preset layout may offer specific wording fields, while an artwork-enabled product supports your own logo or design.
- Enter names, addresses, postcodes and other wording carefully. Check each line rather than relying on a universal character limit.
- Use the font, size and alignment controls offered by the selected layout. Leave enough space for the complete design to remain readable.
- For artwork-enabled products, use SVG, PNG or JPG/JPEG in the online personaliser. PDF upload is not currently supported; contact us if your artwork is only available as a PDF.
- Prepare clear, high-contrast artwork for the selected ink colour. Shading, gradients and very fine details may need simplifying.

Step 2: Review the Design and Request Help if Needed
The personaliser displays a visual of your design before you order. Check spelling, line breaks, spacing, alignment and logo detail. Review the layout at the intended impression size, especially for small stamps.
A separate manual proof is available on request. Contact us before ordering if you need a proof, help with a complicated layout or advice about an urgent deadline. The screen visual helps you check the layout; the printed impression also depends on the ink, surface and stamping technique.

Step 3: Check the Package and Complete Your Order
Review the selected model, ink colour, quantity and package. Confirm the included items on the current product page: some packages include spare replacement pads. Extra pads do not make a stamp print several colours in one impression.
Check your delivery address and the service offered at checkout. We aim to despatch orders placed before midday on the same working day; this is an aim, not a guarantee. Items that need to be ordered in can delay despatch. Despatch and delivery are separate stages, so contact us before ordering for a fixed deadline.

Design Questions
Can every stamp accept my logo?
Check the product before starting. A text-only or preset design may not offer artwork upload; choose an artwork-enabled product when you need your own logo.
Is a separate proof sent automatically?
You can review the visual inside the personaliser. A separate manual proof is available on request.
How do I choose a replacement pad?
Match the pad to the exact stamp model using the replacement ink pad finder. Confirm the compatible ink and surface before changing to a specialist ink.
