Which artwork file should I use?
A clear PNG or JPG image is a practical starting point for a logo upload. PNG supports transparency, which can help keep the background separate from your design. Use the original artwork where possible, rather than a screenshot or a small image copied from a webpage.
You can upload SVG and PDF files directly in the personaliser, as well as supported image files such as PNG and JPG. Choose a clear original file and check how it appears in the preview.
Check the design at its intended size
Look at your artwork at the size you want the finished impression to be. Small lettering, fine lines and closely packed details can become difficult to reproduce or read when a large logo is reduced. A clear preview is useful for checking layout, but fine detail may still need a production review.
Make the elements you want to stamp easy to distinguish from the background. If your logo contains shading, gradients or photographic detail, ask us to check its suitability for the selected stamp and ink.
How much text will fit on a line?
Text limits vary by stamp, line and layout. A wider impression area can accommodate a longer line, while the font, letter size, spacing and any logo also affect what fits. There is no single character limit that applies to every stamp.
Use the controls and preview on the selected product. If a line is too long, shorten the wording, adjust the layout or choose a larger suitable model. Avoid shrinking important text until it becomes difficult to read.
The Imprint 11 impression area is 38 × 14mm, Imprint 12 is 48 × 18mm and Imprint 13 is 58 × 22mm. Compare the stamp size guide before choosing.
Check your design before checkout
- Select a product suitable for text, a logo or the combination you need.
- Enter your wording or upload your image using that product's personaliser.
- Check spelling, phone numbers, addresses, spacing and how the design fits.
