Replacing the pad

1. Follow the operating instructions for your exact stamp to put it into its pad-change position.
2. Remove the old pad without touching the inked surface.
3. Insert the compatible replacement in the correct orientation until it is seated securely.
4. Release the stamp from its pad-change position and make test impressions on scrap paper.

Do not force the cartridge if it does not fit. Check the model, reference and orientation first. If changing colour, residual ink on the stamping plate may affect the initial impressions; follow the manufacturer’s cleaning instructions.

Will this change my stamp design?

No. The ink pad supplies ink to your existing stamping plate. Contact us separately if you need to change your text or logo.

When should I replace the pad?

If impressions become faint or uneven, check the surface, pressure and pad condition. Pad life varies with the design, use and storage. A compatible replacement may help when the pad is depleted or worn.

Can I use it on glossy labels, plastic or fabric?

Do not assume ordinary office ink suits these materials. They need a separate ink-and-surface assessment. Ask for advice before adding specialist ink to your stamp.

Do extra pads print several colours at once?

No. These are replacement pads. Adding spare single-colour pads does not make the stamp print several colours in one impression.
