QUICK ANSWER

Start with the surface, then choose the size

For a small square brand mark, start with the 25 × 25mm 4933. For a wide logo, compare the 58 × 22mm Trodat 4913 and 75 × 38mm Trodat 4926. For larger artwork and a heavier-duty mechanism, compare the 5208, 5211 and 5212. Standard stamp ink suits absorbent paper and card; check coated packaging before choosing.

BRAND YOUR EVERYDAY PACKAGING

Choose a stamp for the job you need it to do

A consistent logo can connect your packaging, thank-you cards and paperwork. These choices focus on the finished impression and how much room it needs.

CHOICE 1

Paper bags & kraft packaging

Stamp an uncoated bag or box while it is flat, with firm support underneath. A simple logo is easier to position than a crowded layout. Check absorption on a sample of your material.

CHOICE 2

Thank-you cards & swing tags

A compact square mark suits small cards and tags. Measure the available space and keep the logo away from punched holes and folds.

CHOICE 3

Wide logos & business stationery

A landscape impression can suit a horizontal brand name on envelopes, paperwork and uncoated cards. Preserve the shape of your logo rather than stretching it.

CHOICE 4

Logo plus company details

Use a text and logo stamp when you want your brand mark alongside an address, website or short message. Allow room for readable wording.

The Professional 5208, 5211 and 5212 offer different rectangular impression areas. Choose the footprint your layout needs and compare their text, text and logo, and logo-only options.

CHOICE 6

Prepare clear artwork

Use a clean, high-contrast logo. Gradients, very fine lines and tiny wording may need simplifying. Check the personaliser preview before ordering; ask for advice if detail is unclear.

Dimensions are maximum impression areas, not the outside casing. Leave clear space around your logo and check the layout at its intended printed size.

QUICK ANSWERS

Questions before you choose

Can I stamp kraft boxes and paper bags?

Uncoated, absorbent kraft paper and card can be suitable for standard paper ink. Test your exact material and stamp before assembling the packaging, with firm support underneath.

Will a standard self-inking stamp work on glossy packaging?

Standard water-based paper ink is not the right starting point for glossy, coated or non-absorbent materials. Tell us the material and finish so we can advise on a suitable setup.

Which stamp is best for a small business logo?

Choose by logo shape and printed size: a simple square mark can suit the 4933, while a wide logo may suit the 4913. A larger stamp gives detailed artwork more space.

Can I add a website or thank-you message?

Yes. Choose a text and logo stamp and allow enough room for readable text alongside your brand mark.

Is a Professional stamp always bigger than a Printy?

No. Compare both width and height: the 4926 is 75 × 38mm, while the Professional 5208 is 68 × 47mm. The right choice depends on the shape of your layout as well as the mechanism.

Can I preview my logo before ordering?

Check your design inside the online personaliser, including spelling and placement. A separate manual proof is available on request. Read the design process.

Should I stamp packaging before or after assembly?

Stamping a flat sheet or unassembled box usually gives firmer support and easier positioning. Keep the stamping area clear of folds, seams and textured areas.

Can the same stamp be used for packaging and stationery?

Yes, when both surfaces suit the ink and the impression fits. Measure the smallest item you plan to stamp before choosing the size.
