Choose your wording

Keep your message concise so the tick and text have enough space. Examples include “Checked by Miss Taylor”, a class name or a short comment such as “Excellent effort”. Enter only the wording you want printed and check spelling, punctuation and line order in the personaliser before ordering.

Suitable materials and ink pads

Use the standard setup on appropriate absorbent, uncoated paper and card. Glossy, coated or specialist surfaces need advice on a suitable stamp-and-ink combination before ordering. Drying and impression quality depend on the material and technique.

No separate desk pad is needed for normal self-inking use. Pad life varies with the design, use and storage. Check the model on the stamp casing before buying a replacement.
