Simple, high-contrast logo artwork produces the best result. Fine lines, gradients and very small text may need simplifying so the stamped impression remains sharp and readable.

Measure the area where the impression will appear, then include only essential information. A slightly larger stamp usually produces a clearer result than forcing too much content into a small impression area.

Black and blue are versatile for general business use, while red is often used for attention or status marking. Make sure the colour remains readable when copied or scanned.

Review the proof at actual size where possible. Check names, numbers, punctuation, alignment and the balance between text and graphics before approving it.
