Boost Your Branding: Custom Logo Stamps For Businesses

A custom logo stamp can give paper thank-you cards, uncoated tags and suitable packaging labels a consistent business mark. For a market, shop or small online business, start with the material and space available, then choose a readable logo impression.

Five practical branding uses

  1. Thank-you cards: add the logo to suitable paper or matt card, with room for your message.
  2. Uncoated paper labels: mark the label before applying it to a package.
  3. Paper gift tags: keep product details and the logo easy to distinguish.
  4. Envelopes and inserts: place the impression away from the address or important wording.
  5. Event paper materials: use on suitable tickets or cards; confirm the ink suits the stock.

Standard self-inking logo stamps are intended for suitable absorbent paper and uncoated matt card. Glossy or coated packaging may prevent the ink absorbing and can smudge. Ask for advice before ordering for fabric, wood, plastic or other specialist surfaces. A wooden handle or a different mechanism does not, by itself, make ordinary ink suitable for every material.

Choose a shape that fits your logo

Product Impression size Layout to consider
4933 square logo stamp 25 × 25mm A compact square logo or short design.
Trodat 4642 round logo stamp 42mm diameter A circular logo or badge layout.
Imprint 11 logo stamp 38 × 14mm A small horizontal mark.
Imprint 12 logo stamp 48 × 18mm A medium horizontal logo.
Imprint 13 logo stamp 58 × 22mm A wider horizontal logo.
Trodat 4926 logo stamp 75 × 38mm A larger layout needing more impression space.

All dimensions above describe the stamped impression. Choose by the logo’s proportions and readable detail, rather than treating one size as suitable for every business. Text capacity varies by model, font and layout. The product personaliser shows the available options.

If you need a name, website or phone number alongside the artwork, compare text and logo stamps. A detailed logo might need a larger impression or simpler version rather than being squeezed into a smaller product.

Upload the logo and review it

Where the selected product offers artwork upload, use SVG, PNG or JPG/JPEG in the online personaliser. PDF upload is not currently supported in the online personaliser. If you only have a PDF, contact us before ordering. SVG supports scalable vector shapes, but can also contain embedded images. PNG and JPG are raster images: enlarging a small image can reveal blurred or jagged edges. Use the clearest original available and check fine detail at the intended impression size; a file extension or DPI label alone does not establish suitability.

You see a visual inside the personaliser. A separate manual proof is available on request; it is not automatically sent for every order. Check spelling, numbers, logo placement and the complete layout before ordering. If a tagline or fine line becomes difficult to read, simplify it or choose a larger impression area. There is no universal font-size, stroke-width or character limit for every design.

Read the artwork upload guide for file preparation. Select the ink options available for the product; do not assume a standard ink choice exactly reproduces a brand’s specified print colour.

Plan the quantity, package and deadline

Count the items you intend to mark and compare stamping time with the alternatives for that batch. Check the package selector and displayed price, including any extra replacement pads. A self-inking stamp has an internal pad; added pads are replacements.

If your event date is fixed, ask about stock and despatch before ordering. Do not treat a carrier’s next-day transit service as a promise that a personalised order will be despatched immediately.

We aim to despatch orders placed before midday (12pm) on the same day. This is an aim rather than a guarantee: stock may need ordering in for the next day. Carrier transit time is separate. Contact us before ordering if you have a firm event or delivery deadline.

Free tracked UK delivery is available on orders over £39.99. Tracking is added to the order on despatch. Remote UK zones B, C and D use Royal Mail Tracked 48. See the delivery policy for services, rates and destination restrictions. We send free-of-charge replacements for missing orders and errors.

Use compatible pads and ink

Follow the supplied model’s care guidance. Replacement pads and ink must be compatible with the stamp and intended use. Avoid adding an unknown ink or assuming the same maintenance method suits every mechanism. If impressions change, contact us with the model and a sample impression so the cause can be checked.
